Jødekager

Ingredients (gives ca 50):

150g soft butter
300g flour
100g powder sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk to brush
A bit of water
Ca 20 g hashed almonds
Ca 20 g sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Knead flour, powder sugar, butter and egg quickly together to a smooth doughand let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle the countertop with a bit of flour. Roll the dough until it is 3-4 mm thick. Use cookie cutters in the shape of your choice and cut out the cookies. Transfer the cookies to a baking sheet with baking parchment. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Mix egg yolks with a bit of water and brush the cookies with it. Mix sugar, cinnamon and hashed almonds together and sprinkle the cookies generously.

Bake them at 190°C for 7-8 minutes until they are golden brown. Knead the remaining dough together and roll it put again, cut out the cookies and repeat also the decoration until you used all the dough. Let them cool down entirely before you store them in a cookie box.
